Anga Janapadha (c.400-300 BC), Copper Karshapana, 10.00 grms, Symbols- Sun & 6 armed symbol visible with some other symbols on both obverse and reverse, Very Scarce, Very Rare The Anga Janapada was one of the sixteen Mahajanapadas of ancient India, located in present-day eastern Bihar and parts of West Bengal, with its capital at Champa on the Ganga river. Anga was an important centre of trade and commerce and maintained strong maritime and riverine connections. It was later conquered and annexed by Magadha during the reign of King Bimbisara, becoming part of the Magadhan state
